Abstract
We shall deal with a system of integro-differential and pseudoparabolic equations describing large deflections of a thin viscoelastic plate. Using the theory of Volterra integral equations in a Hilbert space we obtain a pseudoparabolic integro-differential equation for the unknown deflection. This equation is to be solved via the method of elliptic regularization.
