Strongly Outer Actions for an Inclusion of Factors

For automorphisms of pairs A ⊃ B of factors, we introduce the notion of strong outerness and find conditions guaranteeing this. For a strongly outer action α of a group G, the principal graph and the dual principal graph of the inclusions A[formula]G ⊃ A[formula]G and A[formula]G ⊃ B are obtained.
