Oscillator Semigroup over a Non-Archimedean Field

We describe the weak closure of the image of the Weil representation of the infinite-dimensional symplectic group over a non-Archimedean field of an odd residue characteristic. The closure is a semigroup of contractions in the representation space, and we investigate the algebraic structure of this semigroup.
