On Caps and Cap Partitions of Galois Projective Spaces

In this paper we deal with some ‘special’ caps and cap-partitions (mixed partitions) from a group-theoretic point of view. In particular, we show that the full setwise stabiliser of Hillʹs cap is maximal in the group O−(6,3) providing a direct proof arising from the construction of Hillʹs cap.
