Block Primitive 2- (v, k, 1) Designs Admitting a Ree Simple Group

In this paper, we prove that if D is a 2- (v, k, 1) design withG ≤ Aut(D) block primitive and soc (G) = 2G2(q) then D is a Ree unital with parameters 2- (q3 + 1, q + 1, 1).
