A modification of the super-Halley method under mild differentiability conditions

A new two-point iteration of order three is introduced to approximate a solution of a nonlinear operator equation in Banach spaces. Under the same assumptions as for Newtonʹs method, we provide a result on the existence of a unique solution for the nonlinear equation, which is based on a technique consisting of a new system of recurrence relations.
