On lag windows connected with Jacobi polynomials

Lag windows whose corresponding spectral windows are Jacobi polynomials or sums of Jacobi polynomials are introduced. The bias and variance of their spectral density estimators are investigated and their window bandwidth and characteristic exponent are determined.
