Some monotonicity results on the zeros of the generalized Laguerre polynomials

Some monotonicity results for the function f(α)xn,k(α), where xn,k(α) is the kth zero of generalized Laguerre polynomial Ln(α)(x) and f(α) is a suitable function of α, are derived by means of the classical method of Stiltjes.
