Abstract :
Hardy and Sobolev-type inequalities in Lp(Rn),1<p<∞,n⩾2, associated with magnetic fields, are discussed, with particular emphasis on the sharpness, or otherwise, of constants. Similar inequalities in the case p=2,n=2 for Aharonov–Bohm-type magnetic fields have already been determined by Laptev/Weidl and Balinsky/Evans/Lewis.
