On Weyl–Titchmarsh theory for singular finite difference Hamiltonian systems

We develop the basic theory of matrix-valued Weyl–Titchmarsh M-functions and the associated Greenʹs matrices for whole-line and half-line self-adjoint Hamiltonian finite difference systems with separated boundary conditions.
