Lorenz ordering of generalized beta-II income distributions

The paper investigates the Lorenz order within the four-parameter family of generalized beta distributions of the second kind. The sufficient and necessary conditions for this family can be used for an exhaustive exploration of the Lorenz order within other widely used income distribution models such as the Singh-Maddala distribution or the simple beta distribution of the second kind.
