On ground state solutions for quasilinear elliptic equations with a general nonlinearity in the critical growth

In this paper, we consider the following problem: − Δ p u + V ∣ u ∣ p − 2 u = f ( u ) , u ∈ W 1 , p ( R N ) , where 1 < p < N and f has critical growth. The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of the ground state solution for a class of quasilinear elliptic equations. Some recent results are extended.
