Torsion in the cohomology of finite loop spaces and the Eilenberg–Moore spectral sequence

We use the Eilenberg–Moore spectral sequence to study torsion phenomena in the integral cohomology of finite loop spaces with maximal torus generalizing some results for compact Lie groups due to Kac.
