Box products and Hurewicz spaces

If X is a Hurewicz space, then X × □ ω(ω + 1) is consistently paracompact. If X is a separable Lindelöf space which is not a Hurewicz space, then X × □ ω(ω + 1) is nonnormal. Assuming Martinʹs axiom, there is a Hurewicz subset X of the real line such that X × □ ω(ω + 1) is paracompact but X2 × □ ω(ω + 1) is not normal.
