Abstract
Set a1 = ω + 1 + ω* and for each positive integer n, set an + 1 = anω + 1 + (anω)∗. We show the order type of S, the set of Pisot-Vijayaraghavan numbers, is the ordered sum, ∑n = 1∞ an.
