  • Abstract
    We study maps of an n-od with the branching point fixed and show that sometimes it is possible to introduce rotation numbers and prove theorems similar to those known for the circle and the interval. We obtain additional results for n=3. They explain the form of the sets of periods of periodic points for triod maps.
