Homotopy theory for topological semigroups

We define the homotopy theory for topological semigroups and study some of its basic properties. The notions of the retract, the contractible space, the fibration, and the cofibration are extended to topological semigroups. Ten interesting classes of maps are also introduced and examined. The proofs for some of the results are omitted because of space limitations.
