Tolerance stability conjecture revisited

We prove that the strong tolerance stability property is generic in the space of all homeomorphisms of a compact smooth manifold with C0 topology. Actually, it partially resolves Zeemanʹs and Takenʹs Tolerance Stability Conjecture [F. Takens, in: Lecture Notes in Math., Vol. 197, Springer-Verlag, 1971].
