Isomorphism and local isomorphism of clones of spaces

We construct metric spaces X and Y such that their clones clo X and cloY (i.e. the categories of all continuous maps on their respective finite powers) are not isomorphic while any initial segment of clo X is isomorphic to the corresponding segment of cloY.
