  • Abstract
    We give the complete stable splitting of the complex connective K-theory of the classifying space of the n-th orthogonal group for all n ⩾ 1 . Only three types of spectra show up: bu, mod 2 Eilenberg–Mac Lane spectra, and b u ∧ R P ∞ .
