Deviations of stationary curves in the extended fibred Finslerian approach. Characterization and analytical solutions for E.D.G.

The equations of stationary curves and their deviations are derived by means of the classical variational principle. These are shown to provide, as particular cases, the corresponding equations obtained in the extended fibred Finslerian approach. Several special cases for the former equations are presented and we determine their solutions (i.e. the deviation vector field) in analytical form, for the case of given covariant tidal forces.
