On hyperbolic quasinumbers and Chebyshev-like functions

Generalizations of complex numbers suggested by Weierstrass, Bruwier, Mikusiński et al. have already appeared in various contexts of mathematical physics. In this contribution we use de Moivre groups of hyperbolic quasinumbers of volume one to introduce systems of Chebyshev-like functions for the recurrences of order higher than two.
