Abstract :
The present study aims to investigate the relationship between managers’ human skills and productivity of their schools from the high school teachers’ perspectives of Sufian region. Based on objectives, this is an applied research and according to the nature of the study, this is a descriptive correlational survey. Statistical population consisted of 86 high school teachers of Sufian region in 2012-2013academic year. Stratified sampling was used and sample was determined to be 71 teachers, 40 men and 31 women. For data collection, two types of researcher-made questionnaires were used titled “managers human skills” and “school productivity” measurements. The results of this study showed: (a) the high school principals ‘human skills, in Sufian region, were found to be considerably high; (b) the productivity of high school principals in Sufian region was found to be high in the assessment; (c) there is a significant positive relationship between managers principals ‘skills and their school productivities. In order to provide a desired workplace, the managers should identify staff needs and remove them, so that they can create motivations to flourish staffs talents. Principals should also try to create integration among teachers and create an atmosphere of trust; they should examine the unofficial relationships between teachers and its effect on the school environment then, try to create an effective and efficient relationship among authorities, teachers, students, and parents.
