A Survey of Rheological Properties of Polymer METALS in Capillary Rheometers

This paper aims to review the progress of the rheological measurements of polymer melts using capillary rheometers. It deals with the effects of equipment design, shear rate and thermal history, temperature, pressure, additives, and blend compositions on the rheological properties of the polymer melts, such effects being described in terms of changes in apparent viscosity, apparent wall shear stress and apparent wall shear rate.
