Abstract :
This paper explores the students’ and teachers’ perception of literature using a task based English teaching method at Azad University of Kerman, Iran. The research was based on experimental method that contains three kinds of questionnaires that were collected among MA entrance examination of state university of Iran. TOEFL test as homogenized students, pre test and post test to both control and experimental groups, comparing 60 students of English Literature in total. Correlation analysis: to measure the relationship between variables of study, t-test most convincing support that Task Based Method represent significant influence of Task Based Method in order to reach the answers of questions. Findings of this study may inspire teachers teaching English literature to adapt some courses like poetry according to Task Based Method, so that students can participate in courses like poetry and to help them to improve their level of comprehension.
