From population dynamics to modelling the competition between tumors and immune system

This paper deals with the analysis of some models of population dynamics and of their applicability to model the competition between tumors and immune system. The modelling of the cellular interactions plays a fundamental role in the derivation of the evolution equations which define the dynamics of tumor growth or depletion. The last part of the paper deals with the qualitative analysis of the solutions to the initial value problem referred to in the models proposed in the paper.
