Maxentropic reconstruction with uncertainty in the data and varying a priori information

We analyze, in the context of a simple example, the combined role of the uncertainty of the data and of the a priori information, in the application of the method of maximum entropy in the mean to a linear inverse problem with convex constraints. The influence of both error in the data and a priori input can lead to considerably different reconstructions.
