Modeling wound healing in bone

A previous model of wound healing in bone [1] is further analyzed numerically to derive the solution for given parameters. As in the previous model, the time-independent nonhomogeneous diffusion equation is solved for the equilibrium distribution of wound-induced growth factor over a hemispherical surface. The solution is then coded and implemented to produce graphical results.
