On the roots of Hosoya polynomial of a graph

فرض كنيد فرض كنيد يك گراف ساده است. چندجمله‌اي هوسوياي را با نماد نشان داده و با تعريف مي كنيم كه در آن فاصله‌ي بين دو راس و است. مشابه با چند جمله اي هاي ديگر يك گراف، مانند چند جمله اي رنگي، استقلال و غالب، طبيعي است كه به مطالعه ريشه هاي چند جمله اي هوسوياي يك گراف نيز پرداخت. در اين مقاله به مطالعه ريشه هاي چندجمله‌اي هوسوياي برخي از گراف ها مي پردازيم.

Let G = (V, E) be a simple graph. Hosoya polynomial of G is d(u,v) H(G, x) = ?{u,v}?V(G)x , where, d(u ,v) denotes the distance between vertices u and v. As is the case with other graph polynomials, such as chromatic, independence and domination polynomial, it is natural to study the roots of Hosoya polynomial of a graph. In this paper we study the roots of Hosoya polynomials of some specific graphs.
