A note on the control inventory system under deferrable delivery conditions

Liao [J.J. Liao, An inventory control system under deferrable delivery conditions, Mathematical and Computer Modelling 47 (2008) 247–258] explores an inventory control system for the optimal replenishment time under a trade-credit policy of type “ α / M net T ”. Her inventory model is correct and interesting. However, validities of solution procedures discussed in her work are based on some restrictions such that the application of her inventory model is limited. This paper not only removes those restrictions but also presents complete solution procedures for the system in that work.
