Abstract :
The network trophic theory tries to explain the working of basic ecosystems by studying the trophic connections between species. A basic model that helps us to understand some rules that have been followed in the ecosystems is the one known as the model of trophic cascade. By following these ecological criteria, the algorithm that we present allows us to determine the number of viable trophic networks, taking into account the number of trophic levels, the maximum number of species at each level and the links between the different species. A development for five levels is shown.
