Abstract
In this paper, a scheme of reliable H ∞ control for Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with intermittent measurements is developed. The measurement transmissions from the sensor to the controller and from the controller to the actuator are assumed to be imperfect (that is, the phenomenon of data packet dropouts may occur intermittently), and the Bernoulli random binary distribution is utilized to model the phenomenon of the missing measurements. The possible fault of each actuator is described by a variable varying in a given interval. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the controller are derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI), which can ensure that the closed-loop system is stochastically stable with a prescribed H ∞ performance level. An efficient example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
