Abstract :
Action of zinc on F-alkylated β-bromoacids and esters allowed the preparation of the corresponding bromozincic derivatives which furnished:•
alkylated acids and esters (RCH2COOR) by hydrolysis.
saturated acids and esters (RF′CFCHCO2R) by heating at 110 °C.
