Abstract
The three-component condensation reactions of alkyl isocyanides with 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoropentane-2,4-dione in the presence of water leading to highly fluorinated γ-dihydroxy-α-hydroxy amides and γ-keto-α-hydroxy amides compounds are reported.
