Answers to the comments of Prof. Burghardt on “Direct entropy minimiziation applied to the production of propylene glycol” by J. Manzi, R. Vianna, H. Bispo, Chemical Engineering & Processing 48 (2009) 470–475

The letter is concerned with the dependence between the change of Gibbs free energy and composition of the reaction mixture, showing that the introduction of the additional information into the entropic model proposed does not change the results previously obtained.
