Abstract :
Difluoro Pt(IV) complexes (P–P)Pt(Ar)2F2 were prepared and characterized. One of the fluoro ligands can be selectively removed from the Pt coordination sphere giving the cationic product with the phosphine ligand trans to the empty coordination site.
