  • Abstract
    The photoelectrochemical reduction of nitrite ions to ammonia on CdS photocatalysts was investigated in the slurry mode. The oxidation and the reduction reactions take place separately, thus, decreasing the electron–hole recombination and enhancing the yield of ammonia.
