Abstract :
PAMAM and DAB dendrimers with 4–64 terminal caged compounds on their surface were synthesized. They released bioactive compound (LeuLeuOMe) upon irradiation at 350 nm. The amount of LeuLeuOMe released per molecule increased with the increase in the generation of dendrimers. Sugar ball-type caged compounds showed high solubility in PBS and cluster effect of sugars.
