Solid phase synthesis of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinoxalin-6-ones

Traceless solid phase synthesis of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-g]quinoxalin-6-ones with three points of diversity is described. Primary amines attached to 2-(4-formyl-3-methoxyphenoxy)ethyl polystyrene react with 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene followed by displacement of second fluorine with amino acid ester, reduction of nitro groups, acylation and ring closure. A library of 60 title compounds has been prepared.
