Abstract :
Four new double calix[n]arenes (n=4, 5) 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b have been synthesized by coupling reaction of tetrazonium salts 1a and 1b on calix[n]arenes (n=4, 5). The conformation of 2a was studied in solution and in the solid state.
