Abstract :
Cu(I)-catalyzed intramolecular [2+2] photocycloadditions of two dicyclopentadiene derivatives linked by an alkyl chain have been studied. These reactions are regio- and stereoselective and proceed considerably faster than the corresponding intermolecular reactions.
