Abstract :
The three-component coupling reaction of the activated olefins 1, allylic chlorides 2, and trimethylsilyl cyanide proceeded very smoothly in the presence of Pd2dba3·CHCl3–2dppf catalyst in THF to give the corresponding cyanoallylation products 3 in good to high yields.
