Abstract :
Suzuki cross-coupling of a bromoaromatic anhydride with 2-methoxyboronic acid afforded a novel oxoxanthenoisoquinoline. Subsequent coupling with 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-d-galactose-1,3-diyl phosphate gave a fluorophore.
