Ring-closing olefin metathesis of prearranged C-allyl saccharides for the synthesis of C-butenyl linked homo- and hetero-disaccharides

Synthesis of C-butenyl-linked homo- and hetero-disaccharides was achieved via ring-closing olefin metathesis employing the Grubbʹs catalyst.
