Abstract :
From the ripe fruits of Asparagus falcatus capsoneoxanthin, a minor carotenoid was isolated and, based on its spectral data, identified as (all-E,3S,5R,6R,3′S,5′R)-6,7-didehydro-5,6-dihydro-3,5,3′-trihydroxy-β,κ-caroten-6′-one.
