Abstract
Massarilactones A and B (1 and 2) have been isolated from cultures of the freshwater aquatic fungus Massarina tunicata. The structures, including absolute stereochemistry, were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis of their bis(4-bromobenzoate) derivatives.
