  • Abstract
    N-Aryl-P,P-diphenyl-P-(diphenylphosphinoyl)methyl-λ5-phosphazenes undergo smooth acid-catalysed hydrolysis with concomitant PC bond fission yielding N-aryl-P,P-diphenylphosphinamides and diphenylmethylphosphane oxide. A tentative mechanistic explanation is given.
