  • Abstract
    The intramolecular Diels–Alder reaction of N-acylvinyl imidates provides a rapid entry into cis-fused hexahydroisoquinolones. This methodology has been used in a concise synthesis of the yohimbine alkaloid (±)-alloyohimbane.
