Abstract :
Resin-supported chiral aminoalcohols bound to polymeric network via a sulfonamide link are prepared very efficiently from polymeric N-tosylamides of aminoacid esters. Preliminary results show that those compounds can be used as useful chiral auxiliaries. The presence of the sulfonyl group plays an important role in determining the properties of the resulting supported reagents.
