Abstract :
A carbamoylsilane behaves as a siloxyaminocarbene towards electrophilic reagents, undergoing CH insertion with chloroform, methyl propiolate and 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene. Its reaction with DMAD results in carbamoylsilylation.
